Case study · Founder brand
How a single idea for vape battery wraps became an internationally distributed accessories brand, and the experience CHRISPS is built on.
01
A single product idea in a crowded accessories market.
ODB Wraps started as one bold idea: illustrated wraps for vape batteries. To grow beyond a novelty it had to be recognised at a glance, earn space with retailers and distributors, and give end users something worth collecting.
02
The brand was built around creative IP rather than the product alone: illustrated wrap artwork, streetwear-inspired design and community-driven marketing, carried consistently from the product to the pack to the trade-show floor.
03
Treat ODB as a culture brand, not a commodity accessory, so the artwork, the community and the product reinforce each other and travel across markets.
04
Illustrated wrap artwork, the ODB and ODBXT logotypes, and packaging that carries the artwork and safety information with equal clarity. The same illustration system scaled up into exhibition stands, where every panel works at two distances.
05
Production-ready artwork prepared for manufacture, and the ODBXT 21700 battery line developed with manufacturing partners and launched with its own campaign, "No limits / No boundaries".

Historical figures for ODB Wraps as a business, from the CHRISPS record. They reflect the brand's overall growth, not a single project, and they are not current CHRISPS figures.
